What a weekend I had! I spent the entire weekend working on the short film that I am starring in. On Friday I worked an eight hour day, Saturday was a fifteen hour day, and Sunday was a seventeen hour day. So you can imagine how I feel! I wish I had a few days to recover before heading off to San Francisco for the week, but my plane leaves in a few hours. I plan on blogging along the way, so do make sure to check back on the great things I find thrifting!

I love this dress so, so much. Firstly, I absolutely adore Hawaiian print, and anything semi Polynesian looking. The main reason I love this dress though is that it has a gigantic wrap around top, and can be warn in several different ways. I was wearing it like this when I took the photos earlier, but changed it later (to go better under a cardigan) to a more traditional halter top…..Ah…..so much diversity in one dress!

Today is such a cold and windy day in San Diego! I haven’t needed to pull out a jacket for a few weeks, but today is one of those days!

I just got back from my friend Leasa’s house, where we went over the script for the movie a few times, played dress ups (or costuming, I suppose), and planned out my very busy week next week. I can’t wait to start filming!

I bought this dress a few days ago on one of my’ day before the sale’ thrifting adventures. If you haven’t found out the sale days at your favorite thrift store-do so, then shop the night befor. I always find the most amazing things the evening before a big sale. I found three incredible dresses, all in my size, and I left spending less than $20 (with a few other goodies included!).

Today is the perfect day for shorts too. It is hot and humid out here in San Diego. It must be close to 80 degrees F.  Off to the thrift store for me!

I bought this dress about six months ago, when I was up in San Francisco visiting my mother. She knows all the good thrift stores, so every time I go, we make our rounds in San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkley. I just bought a ticket to go back up there, so I hope I can find a lot of great stuff with mum!

What a wonderful weekend we have been having. It has been so relaxing, and I have been able to get a lot of house work done. Russ and I are about to head off to the market to stock up on fruits and veggies for this coming week. Tonight we are pulling out the board games! Can’t wait!

I suppose I should just change the name of this section to “Daily Dress” since that is all I seem to wear ever!  I have had this dress for years.  It is so incredibly comfortable, because the waist is elastic, and its made of cotton.  It is sort of hard to see, but there are little buttons up the front.

Somehow I managed to pull my hair together enough to pass without a scarf, but I don’t know how much longer I can rock the Carol Brady mullet that my hair seems to be growing into!!

My hair is officially a nightmare! I have reached the most awful stage of in between stages of growing hair out. Nothing I can do can make it look good. Don’t be surprised if you see me in a lot of scarfs for the next few weeks!!

I just bought this dress a few days ago at the thrift store, and as soon as I saw it my heart did a little dance in my chest. It still is in fact! I am so happy with this latest find.

I am so excited about this dress! I got it at the thrift store a few days ago (those on the mailing list got a small sneak peak at it). It is so ridiculously comfortable, I could sleep in it.  The band in the center is elastic, and the fabric is so lightweight.  I may wear it for a week straight!
