Happy Wednesday dolls! I hope everyone is making it through the week without suffering too much from the heat. I have lots of wishes running around in my head right now, but this is my number one:
I wish I were backpacking through the Mediterranean countries. I fly into Athens, and catch the Eurorail and travel extensively throughout Greece, Italy, Spain, and finally make my way into Northern Africa. I stop in many small cities, getting to meet the locals, and embrace their cuisine and their customs. I have all the time in the world, and naturally an unlimited supply of income. I spend my days wandering through worn down cities and towns, making new friends, drinking local wine, and tasting all the food that comes my way. My nights are spent dancing until 2 AM. I take photos, and blog about my adventures all along the way.

That I was having a picnic full of chocolate cupcakes and pavlovas and chocolate mousse (drool) and cheap champagne, in a field of sunflowers in the Netherlands, with my closest friends. Wow, for a second there, i thought I WAS there

This week I wish I was having a romantic week in Paris with someone I love. We’d both have wonderful clothes, as much champagne as we wanted, and take photographs together. We’d spend the days sleeping in, staying up late and just enjoying eachother’s company.

I wish I were on Nantucket sitting by my sprawling estate’s giant swimming pool looking out at the sun kissed sand dunes and sipping a virgin strawberry daiquiri while wearing this fabulous white swimsuit that I saw in Elle last month. Once I am done with swimming, and lounging about I would don a fabulous nautical outfit to go into town. I’d meet a cute boy…

Your wish this week is almost exactly what I plan to be doing in 1 year. My friend and I are planning on saving up all this year, than backpacking through a bit of Europe (probably Spain, France, and Italy) to celebrate our first year of college. Mainly we’ll be drawing and exhausted from traveling like poor little urchins, but i plan on eating and dancing and taking as many pictures as possible!

I wish I was on a Caribbean cruise with my husband. We’d stop for a couple days on a beautiful island, where Caleb and I would walk along the sand, stopping to just sit whenever we felt like it. A drink attendant would bring by fruity drinks (virgin for me while pregnant), and we’d watch the sunset after being on the beach all day.
