A very happy Wednesday to all of you! I hope you have all been saving up some lovely daydreams and wishes to share with us this week! I certainly have….I think that my wish this week stemmed from the three dozen cupcakes I made over the weekend!
I wish I owned a small bakery on the outskirts of town. I would wake up at the crack of dawn, and go in and start preparing the pastries for the day. I would make pies, tarts, cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, éclairs, and whatever else your heart can think of. Naturally I would be the best baker in town, and people would not only come into my shop for the sweets, but for the lovely decor. Light pink walls, with old fashioned white metal parlor chairs throughout. Everyone in town has become my friend through the bakery, and they love telling me stories of how their mamas taught them to roll dough, or how grandma showed them to make a pie crust. At the end of the day I take a dessert home with me to enjoy after my long day, excited to return tomorrow to my little bakery.
What do you wish you could do right now? Where do you wish you were? Divulge us in your wish! Don’t forget to add it to the Polyvore group when you are done.

I wish I was on the Orient Express, pre World War One, an intrepid lady journalist (independently wealthy) who soles mysteries on the side. Why should Poirot have all the fun?
I tagged you for a meme over at Kitchen Retro, I thought that you might it.

Aughhh!!! Your wish is the best!! I love your description of the decor of your bakery.
I wish I was a young Bavarian maiden, walking through the cool, damp, magical Black Forest. I stumble upon a burly, bearded Backwoodsman who has not seen a woman in many years. He kidnaps me, slinging me over his shoulder, and takes me back to his cabin. Slowly, we come to love and appreciate each other, and live happily ever after.
That’s uhh, the clean version. Heehee.

My last wish was for a night out in NYC; my wish for this week is for a day out in another international city–Paris! Take me back to the time of impressionist painters, the start of the new century and existentialists. I want to walk down the Champs-Élysées, take in the sights and meet up with an old friend for coffee and laughs.

A little late again, but I’ve been a bit busy…
I am wishing for clear weather and lots of sunshine tomorrow (May 25th) as I graduate from college. I’m wishing for my feelings of excitement and happiness to be stronger than nerves and sadness at leaving my friends and school, and for my loving and supportive family to be proud of my accomplishments.
I think my wish might come true

My Wish Would Take Me To A Decadent Burlesque Club In The Heart Of London’s Soho. At Each Table Is A Quaint Little Lamp, Carefully Gathering Dust, But Still Bright And Pleasing To The Eye. Backstage We’re All Getting Ready For The Final Number, Glitter And Glamour Are Flying Everywhere, And The Cramped Changing Rooms Are Filled With The Scent Of Some Old Antique Perfume, Carefully Sprayed Through The Air Ready For Us All To Walk Through. The Men Outside Are Waiting In Anticipation Of What Awaits Them, And A Rich Business Man Is Preparing His Patter To Entice Me Into His Hotel Room For The Night.

This is adorable! I would totally work there/be your best customer.
Recently I’ve been wishing I had a part-time job at a flowershop (currently too young for one), I’d wear a pretty dress every day, and arrange beautiful roses, lilies, sunflowers, and tons of other flowers of all colors, and people would come in wanting flowers for different occasions, flowers for their loved ones…
But really I just wish time would go by a week so that school would out already!

I know I’m a few weeks late but…
I wish it was back in the 50’s or 60’s, I was married to my husband who had a good job, and we were starting to have a family. I want to raise both a boy and a girl (possibly more) and be a stay at home housewife. I would have supper ready for my husband when he got home, and I would keep the house looking tidy when he was gone.
Yeah I’m really old fashioned, surprising since I just turned 18 too.. >.>
