What do you know…here it is Wednesday again, and I am ready for another round of What I’m Wishing! Don’t forget to read everyone’s wishes from last week. There are some really great ones in there!
Also, at the suggestion of Liina, I created a Polyvore group for anyone who creates outfits for their sets. It would be great to get them all collected in one place!
I wish I were an anthropologist studying a native tribe in Africa. I study their speech patterns, and have been living among the people for almost a year. They have really warmed up to me, and I have really started picking up their language. I am speaking to them fluently and with very few mistakes. There is a mother of three small children, who has taken a particular liking to me. She calls me ‘tall one’ and insists that I eat with them most evenings. There food consists of various small animals that the men were able to catch. Though their food did take some getting used to at first, my stomach is stronger now, and I can eat almost anything without wincing. The days are hot, and I spend most of the day inside huts, observing what the members of the tribe do and say. In the evenings I return to my own personal hut, where I review the notes I wrote that day, and work on making diagrams relating to the usage of certain words. I sleep in a hammock with a net over it to keep away pests. I have six more months before I finish my study, and plan on going back to America and publishing a book all about my studies.

I wish I was shopping in New York. It’s a bright, sunny day with a slight breeze to ward of the heat. I’m wearing wedges to keep my feet from hurting too badly, but around 2pm I gather all my bags around my feet at a small bistro to sip on an iced drink.
Later that night I plan on catching a Broadway show, but for today I am content to walk around the shopping district without a care in the world.

My wish this week is spend a night in the Big Apple and really hit the town! I’m looking fabulous; my gals and I are the hit of every party we crash. Afterwards we hit the streets, and have everything we ever wanted: good drinks, great food and the best times!

i wish that i was on a picnic with my boyfriend, and we spend the day at the park eating chicken salad sandwiches, then we go to main street for ice cream.
oh, and i look adorable, too!
