Daily Outfit

April 20, 2008

Today has been a total lazy day for me. Instead of doing the normal house chores that I do on Sunday I have sat around painting and watching crappy TV, while sipping a very delicious mimosa. In fact, I probably wouldn’t have gotten out of my nightgown at all, but a friend is stopping by in a bit to join me in my painting adventures.

I can’t believe I haven’t ever posted this dress on here before. This is probably one of the most worn items I have in my closet. It is so comfy, I think I may have accidentally slept in it a time or two. This is the dress I throw on when I am sitting around like a slob, and need to go out in public.

PS. Has anyone been taking daily outfit photos, since I suggested it on Tuesday?

about the daily outfit pictures: i still have to wait until next saturday, 12 o’clock at night, when my bf is giving me my birthday present - a camera. since you mentioned the daily pictures, i am even more eager to start the photo routine. i’ll let you know how it all went down. have a great week!

I have not done daily photos, but I hope to some day. I have not even regularly used a full-length mirror since I moved out of my parents’ house when I graduated from high school! This winter I finally bought one that hangs from the back of a door…and my boyfriend decided to use it to study his form while weight lifting! So I still can’t see myself in it because I have to stand on one side of the weight bench which is too close, or on the other which obscures me from the knees down. That was a really long explanation. The point of the story is I’m fairly certain that I don’t look the way I want to, and daily outfit photos would surely help me. I bet you have mentioned this before, but do you use a tripod?

Liina- I don’t have a full length mirror at all, which is part of why the outfit photos help me a lot. I need a long mirror, but I have no where to put one right now…
I usually use a tripod, depending on where I am…sometimes I will get creative and stack a bunch of books or boxes on a table.
