♥ Start taking daily outfit photos. Really, nothing has helped me learn more about my own style than looking at daily outfit photos. It makes it much easier to pinpoint what you do and don’t like about your wardrobe.
♥ Look for an international market in your town. Go with a few extra dollars and buy something totally unfamiliar to you. If you are unsure go with something sweet, desserts are much harder to go wrong with than savory foods.
♥ Organize a clothing swap with some friends. Go through your closet and drawers and pull out everything that doesn’t get use. Make a few cocktails, turn on some music, and get to trading!
♥ Go to the fabric store and buy the cutest buttons you can find. Buy an ordinary cardigan from the thrift store and spruce it up by replacing all the buttons.

Do you take the Daily Outfit pictures yourself or does your husband take them for you?

I love it when Tuesdays come around.
I never even thought of the daily outfit picture like that! What a good idea. And clothing swaps are so much fun! My friends and I did one a few years ago and had a great time… and some great clothes. Cocktails is a brilliant addition though.

I’ve thought about borrowing your daily outfits idea…
How do you do it? Just set up your camera on a tripod and use a timer? Or does someone photograph you?

Adiel- You definitely should. I set up my camera on a tripod usually and set the timer. I much prefer that to having others take my picture, just because I tend to make goofy faces when someone is holding the camera!

Hi Cedar. I love your Tuesday Tips! It’s been so long since I’ve been to a fabric store! I used to love rummaging through my mom’s button collection when I was a kid and just the idea of going out and buying a set of cute buttons puts a smile on my face
