♥ Acting. Some of you know about this already, through the weekly newsletter, but a friend of mine who makes short films wants me to be play the lead role in her next film! I am ecstatic about it, and can’t stop thinking about what I can bring to the part. Last weekend we met and did costuming (I get to use a lot of my vintage pieces in the film!), and next weekend we are shooting it, over a three or four day period. I get to play Grace, a bored housewife, who’s husband leaves on business, while away an electrician comes to fix a problem with a fuse box, and suddenly Grace is whisked away into these fantasies about the handsome electrician. It’s quite silly, but will be a ton of fun to shoot. I can’t wait! Hopefully when it’s done I can get them to put it online, so everyone can see it!
♥ Having a clean and sunny house. I have been keeping so on top of the housework lately, it is such a wonderful feeling, not having to step over a heap of clothes when I get out of bed in the morning! Also, I have been opening up the curtains and blinds every day for the entire day, which really helps open up my tiny cottage, and make it so much more cheerful.
♥ No more cursing! Ok, I really don’t do it that much, but I would like to stop completely. Sometimes I hear people who just throw these terrible sounding (and some vulgar) words around in public, around families and kids, and it totally disgusts me. Though I never do that, hearing others do it totally inspires me to stop cursing altogether.
♥ I keep pushing off having this, because I have been so busy lately, but I have been wanting to have a tapas party for ages. Immaetchu’s post this morning; Tapas and Cocktails, reminded me that I need to get to planning!
