My calendar. Ok, well it isn’t much of a calendar really, but rather a small journal with the date written on the top of each page. It has been the most wonderful thing though, each day I write out the things I need to accomplish that day, then check it off once it is done. It has also helped me better organize what articles I am going to write, and when, so I can prepare for them in advance if necessary.

Herb gardens. A few weeks backed I talked about how much I love having a house full of plants, well this week I think I am going to start an indoor herb garden. I love fresh herbs, but so often when I buy them from the store they go bad before I get a chance to use them. Here is a great tutorial on how to start your own Indoor Herb Garden.

Going to bed early. Last night I got in bed around ten, and fell asleep right away. This morning I feel so refreshed, and was able to wake up and jump out of bed without feeling incredibly groggy, or grumpy for that matter! I might have to make a habit of this!

Baking. I have been so into making sweets and other baked goods lately. I want to try these Chocolate Kahlua Buns with Coconut Glaze. They sound absolutely divine!

Walks along the beach. Yesterday my brother (who is in town from Massachusetts) and I went and spent the afternoon with our grandma. She lives one block from the water, so we took a nice long stroll around the neighborhood, picked flowers, and fruit, and had a lovely afternoon. I live so close to the ocean, I really do need to spend more time there!

So my dears, what are your favorite things right now??
